Prayer to God for

Life gives us difficult, hard or impossible questions!
However, the bible provides many answers to such questions. Of course, it would be impossible to answer all the questions that exist, provided with all explanation. That is why Christians meet each other, and not only look up the Bible. God has encouraging words for those who believe!

All the sufferings demonstrate that God doesn’t exist. Nobody can claim that he is perfect and be totally free from evil. If God were to destroy all the evil in the world, would any human being stay? C.S. Lewis supposed that 95% of all sufferings in the world can be related back to evil acts of the people. > "The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one" (Psalms 14:2-3)

In a world of science the Bible can’t be a reliable book. Science and technology have changed the world. But they don’t provide the ability to discover the meaning of life. Albert Einstein: ‘Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind’. The Bible contains many credible evidence. Archaeological excavations do confirm the events described in the Bible; furthermore, it contains descriptions of dinosaurs, it’s scientifically demonstrated that Jesus and the apostles really have existed, the Bible is the best historical material that ever came down to us (comp. from the book of Julius Caesar only a few chapters have been come down to us, but from the Bible complete books and manuscripts have been found, some even were dated before 0 AD). The evolution theory contradicts the Bible, but (Christian) scientist know there is no apparent conflict between scientific findings and the Bible.

You cannot prove the existence of God. In the jungle, a man found a watch, a thing he never has seen before. He saw the logic movement of the hour hands. He opened the back and found cogs, feathers, stones, an anchor, a lever and wheels. He also discovered that he can make it run by winding it up. He noticed that the complex mechanics moved along a predestined pattern. He thought by himself: I found this watch, there must be a watchmaker somewhere. Then the man pondered about the world, with its four seasons, about the silent planets moving in their orbits, He thought by himself: the world must have a Maker as well.
He was a 13-century theologian who tried to prove Gods existence. He found five ways: >
Argument of movement >
Cause of its existence >
Coincidental and necessary things >
Argument about perfection >
The Creator

Does anybody still believe in the devil? It looks like an argument to dodge your responsibilities. However, the Bible clearly demonstrates the existence of demonic powers or evil spirits. The Hebrew word ‘satan’ means ‘adversary’ and this word occurs 36 times. The Greek word ‘diabolos’ means ‘persecutor or slanderer’ and this word occurs 33 times. Archibald G. Brown: ‘The existence of the devil is so clearly taught in the Bible, hence, doubting its existence would be akin to doubting the Bible itself’. Somebody once stated: ’Satan really wants us to believe that he is not real’. >
"He that committeth
sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this
purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works
of the devil". (1st John 3:8)

Who will go to heaven? Some people think God will accept them because of their neat and sincere lifestyle. But the Christian life is all about God forgiving of our sins, it is not based on what we did for others. The way to God is by Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way. > "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12) Someone can be sincere, but also be sincerely mistaken.

Only the weak need the Christian faith. How strong are we actually? Put on the television and you can see the dehumanizing things people do: murders, abuse, rape (also in the porn industry), greed, tyranny, injustice, slander and gossip, etc… how about your own mindset? Did you never try to get rid of your own shortcomings (or: shameful acts)? Paul, one of the founders of the Church of Jesus, had a powerful maxim: >
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth
me"

Aren’t the churches full of hypocrites? Mahatma Gandhi once said: ‘You Christians ought to live like Jesus Christ. You ought to practice your faith and not falsify nor weaken it. You ought to embody love, as love is the center and the soul of the Christian faith’. A Christian is a sinner who has received forgiveness for the sins and is cleaned from sin by the power of the Gospel. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ enables this forgiveness, once and now. >
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive
ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar,
and his word is not in us." A hypocrite can call himself a Christian, but his testimony as a Christian contradicts with the way he/she actually is living. >
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt
not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the
synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen
of men..." (Matthew 6:5)

What is believing? >
The Christian faith is based on observable facts The first Christians didn’t approach sceptics with a message like ‘aw, just believe it man!’ They pointed out that they had to investigate the factual and historic basis of the Christian faith. The Berean people actually did: "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so". (Acts 17:11) Being a Christian means putting your faith in Jesus Christ. This faith is based on historically knowable facts and not on false expectations. "Now
faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not
seen". (Hebrews 11:1)

Sin and God cannot go together Or does it go together? If you realize that God is holy and pure, would He accept sin? Gods standard is perfection. No man can say that he didn’t sin. Jesus knew this. He let Him crucified so as to take the penalty for the sin away from you; the wages of sin is death. So be honest and confess that you have sinned and give your life to Him. Click the last element ‘Prayer to God’, there is the text you can pray God for remission from your sins and to get forgiveness and eternal life. > "…neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth" (Ezekiel 33:12) > "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21) >
"For
the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23)

Prayer to God for forgiveness, deliverance and eternal life Pray this to God with a honest heart: “Jesus, I come to You. I acknowledge that I have sinned and that I have wandered away from You. I want to ask You to forgive me and cleanse me with Your blood. I want to ask You to come to live in my heart and to perform a miracle in my life. From now on I want to do Your will. I thank You for being my Savior. I pray all this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.” If
you have made a choice
for Jesus, we would like to help you further to grow in the Lord. You
just have been born again; you are quite young spiritually, like a baby,
which needs spiritual food to reach to eternal life. I
you did not make that choice
yet, you rather are curious about it or you would find it interesting,
then you are very welcome to come to our services and/or activities.
